About The Cosmetic & Restorative Surgery Clinic
The Cosmetic & Restorative Surgery Clinic is situated in a quiet area of Double Bay in Sydney. Its upper floors contain Dr. Hodgkinson's consulting rooms, various treatment and examination areas, and the Clinic's administration.
The Double Bay Day Surgery occupies the lower floors of the Clinic building. This is a fully licensed and ISO 9001 accredited day surgery centre built exclusively to deliver state of the art cosmetic and plastic surgical procedures.
Our mission is to provide our patients with the best results and care by ensuring that everything they encounter is of the highest quality. By having his own self-contained world class facility Dr. Hodgkinson can best control quality, privacy and costs for his patients. The Facility
The facility, which is unique in Australia, is comprised of two fully equipped operating rooms with general anaesthesia as well as four recovery beds. All equipment is state of the art including cutaneous lasers, surgical lasers, endoscopic equipment and the most up to date surgical instruments. Licensure by the NSW Department of Health and ISO 9001 Accreditation through Global-Mark is your guarantee that all standards of safety and sterility are met.
The Staff
The highly skilled staff include intensive care anaesthetists, registered nurses specialising in plastic surgery, recovery room nurses and surgical technicians. All staff have further training in catering to the special needs of cosmetic and plastic surgical patients.
Post-operative Care
Post-operative Care is managed by our highly skilled nursing staff who are on call 24 hours a day to ensure you are well looked after while recuperating after surgery. Nurses are also available to stay with patients either in their own home or in nearby hotels if desired.
Many patients who want to get away from it all during the healing phase stay several days in the local hotels.. Corporate rates are available and the staff of the Hotels are happy to have our patients; they are very co-operative with any special requests from our patients during the post-operative period.
Cosmedical Procedures
As well as the full range of cosmetic plastic surgical procedures the Clinic also offers Thermage to Face, Eyes, Tummy and Arms and Legs as well as the full range of anti-wrinkle injections, injectible fillers, microdermabrasion, facial skin peels and facial vein lasers.
Computer Imaging
The clinic provides computer imaging to help patients visualize their potential "look". This tool is mostly used for prospective rhinoplasty/nose reshaping patients to help in communicating what their desires are to Dr. Hodgkinson and in return to communicate to the patient what is a realistic expectation for their result.
