PIP Implant Controversy
It is natural that patients with gel implants are concerned about the status of their breast prostheses. We always encourage patients to follow up with us for all implants on an annual basis. If there are any concerns about your implants, get a referral from your GP and call our receptionist Marija on 02 9362 7400 for an appointment. The Australian TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) does not recommend categorical removal of PIP implants. See more information from the TGA.
