Liposuction of the Neck

Excess skin and fatty tissues beneath the jaw is referred to as a double chin. Many of Dr. Hodgkinson’s patients with this problem can be treated by liposuction of the excess fat or by direct fat excision via a small incision under the chin. This approach allows fat removal from the neck and jowl region and, via the incision under the chin, direct tightening of the neck's superficial muscles to establish a better look for your face.

If there is too much loose neck skin and muscle, a facelift /neck lift procedure is necessary to properly correct the age changes
