Skin products for him

A complete new range of products for men from Pevonia is now available at the Clinic.

One of the most popular is the pre-shaving emulsion for skin that suffers from folliculitis, razor burn or sensitivity. This has a micro-emulsified formula that adheres to the skin and hair to help the razor glide without "hanging", promoting a smoother, silkier shave without any after shave irritation. It leaves the skin oil-free and smooth and is recommended for all skin types.

The active ingredients are hazelnut oil for softening and nourishing, Vitamin A for hydra-tion, Vitamin E for healing, Camonmile to calm and soothe and tea tree extract which acts as an anti-irritant.

New non-permanent injectible smooths wrinkles and enhances lips instantly

Based on non-animal hyaluronic acid, Swedish-made non-permanent injectible is injected into the skin or lip, and because no pre-test is needed the treatment takes less than 30 minutes. It lasts longer than other temporary treatments; in the majority of patients about 50-80% of the effect remains after 6 months. As it is a natural product, a touch-up can be performed at any time.

New Obagi Blue Peel now available

Obagi chemical peels, developed by Dr. Obagi of California, have been around for a while but in 1997 Obagi launched the new Obagi Blue Peel in the USA, and it is now available to you at the Cosmetic and Restorative Surgery Clinic. The Blue Peel has been specifically designed to treat dark spots and patches as well as lines that are not affected by alphahydroxy/glycolic acid peels.

Furthermore, the Obagi Blue Peel can be applied to the hands, arms, chest and back as well as the face. The skin will frost and appear as if it has been 'sunburnt'. As the superficial layers of damaged skin flake off, newer healthier skin will surface leaving the patient with a fresher appearance.

This peel is particularly beneficial to people with Asian, African and Mediterranean skin due to the significant reduction in post peel hyper-pigmentation.
